The Cartshed is a cosy tearoom tucked down a lane in the picturesque Norfolk village of Great Massingham. The owner contacted us after seeing our branding work at a restaurant down here in Cornwall. After an initial meeting we made a start on the creative concepts for The Cartshed logo and identity.
Being called The Cartshed (after the building they were refurbing that was to become the tearoom), the logo takes its inspiration from the wheel of a cart and it has a traditional feel, with a modern twist. We created a repeating pattern of cartwheels that is used on the background of the website, as their branded greaseproof wrap and across the other deliverables.
We completed all the exterior and interior signage, menu design, pin badges, staff uniforms, promotional literature and a set of reusable coffee cups that are available to buy in the tearoom.
Delicious homemade cakes, freshly brewed coffee and of course excellent afternoon teas – it’s no wonder we made the trip all the way over to Norfolk to visit them!
